(Adnkronos) – Carcere di Rebibbia senza riscaldamento: termosifoni spenti, sovraffollamento e condizioni critiche mentre nevica in tutta Italia. È questo il quadro denunciato da Gianni Alemanno, detenuto a Rebibbia, che nel suo 'Diario di cella 33' pubblicato sui social, nel rispetto delle norme, racconta la situazione drammatica vissuta sia dai detenuti sia dagli agenti della Penitenziaria. ''Siamo giunti al 23 novembre e i termosifoni sono completamente spenti, mentre nevica in tutta Italia e le temperature scendono anche a Roma. Radio carcere ci dice che le caldaie sono rotte e che anche gli agenti della Penitenziaria sono nelle nostre stesse condizioni: non solo qui al braccio ma anche nella loro caserma, attigua a Rebibbia", scrive Alemanno, denunciando che l’acqua calda non arriva dopo le 20 neppure nelle docce di chi smonta dagli ultimi turni di guardia. Alemanno descrive gli agenti "imbacuccati come i soldati di Napoleone in Russia", costretti a lavorare al gelo. Nel post critica anche il ministro Nordio, ricordando che il sovraffollamento continua a peggiorare: "L’estate è passata, l’autunno sta finendo, non si è visto un solo posto in più e il sovraffollamento cresce inesorabilmente". Nel frattempo, sottolinea, "il tetto di Regina Coeli è crollato, Rebibbia è al collasso" e gli agenti si trovano "in piccoli gruppi, circondati da centinaia di detenuti. In questo caso ricordano più il 7° Cavalleggeri a Little Big Horn (le divise sono dello stesso colore)''. L’ex sindaco di Roma racconta poi la trasformazione delle sale sociali in celle di emergenza: "Dalla costruzione di Rebibbia, ogni reparto ha una saletta dedicata alla socialità, con un povero tavolo da pingpong e qualche improbabile scacchiera. Non sapendo più dove mettere i nuovi arrivi, avendo esaurito tutti i posti in cella, quella saletta (in futuro toccherà anche alle altre) è stata trasformata in una grossa cella. Sei brande disposte a caso, materassi arrivati dopo giorni, niente armadietti, niente TV, tutto ammucchiato sul tavolo centrale. Un tugurio infernale". Per una settimana, dice, "il bagno non aveva neppure lo scarico e le persone detenute erano state fornite di secchi d’acqua per pulire". Alemanno teme che la situazione non sia destinata a migliorare: "Presto o tardi la caldaia sarà riparata e i muri gelidi di Rebibbia cominceranno un poco a riscaldarsi (niente di che, ma meglio di niente), ma il sovraffollamento continuerà a crescere". E, con tono polemico, conclude: "Forse presto si dirà che il sovraffollamento aiuta pure a combattere il freddo, perché accatastati gli uni sugli altri ci riscaldiamo tra noi".
